I kept trying to look back at my post, trying to figure out where I made the unintentional Futurama reference, haha. But yeah, the Flying Spaghetti Monster was invented to satirize the whole intelligent design thing (and just happened to be referenced in Futurama and South Park). Edit: website |

Heh, it does kinda look like Cthulu.... They do believe that global warming was caused by the decrease in the number of pirates. And their version of heaven has a beer volcano. |

i think "believe" may be a bit of a strong word. What's the difference between that and any other religion besides time.
EDIT--Also I believe people "believe" it to show real believers how nonsensical the whole thing is.
