So I've been taking kind of slow (or just being lazy), but heilige scheisse there's so much to take in and, like, literally nothing at all is happening.

Reading a book in my lit class. It's called Born to Rock. Looks interesting enough I suppose. A huge conservative high school kid finds out that his biological father is really a huge punk rock artist, from one of the edgiest and badass punk bands around.
I hope the punk rock knocks the conservative out of him.

Always Running is cool. Best book we've done for my core class.

Finally, I completely organised my tabs. The four colours have different meanings, of course; same with the tiny ones on the bottom. I might trace an area map in the back, but I don't know. It's Infinite Jest, by the way.

I really like Plath's poetry and I am an independent young woman who sometimes has emotional problems but sometimes I just can't like The Bell Jar?? I don't know, man. Slaughterhouse-Five is good. I highly recommend Cat's Cradle if you enjoy reading about the end of the world. God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater is also a favourite of mine. YO SHIT A WRINKLE IN TIME IS THE BEST OMG that was like better than chronicles of narnia for me when I was a kid honestly. I do like Perks of Being a Wallflower though! And I have a soft spot for Catcher in the Rye too even though it's kind of a book everyone's supposed to hate. I guess I feel the same way about The Bell Jar??? And honestly you don't have bad taste, like, who am I to judge anyway? (Word of warning though: I'm not reading Ulysses yet but I'm reading another novel that uses the (―) instead of the (") for quotations and it's a little wacky to get used to, or at least it was for me, probably because there's no closing mark when the ― is used, unlike the quotation mark.)
