Without Nintendo, where does Sony copy from? If Sony really copied from Nintendo, so did Microsoft.

Want to know why the 3DS is the highest selling console? It's because no other systems are being released.

People are obviously going to buy a newer system than one released a few years ago.

It's been the top-selling console in Japan for over a month now. So? It would be extremely embarrassing for Nintendo if they lost their dominance of the Japanese market.

The PS2 is over 12 freaking years old. Like I said, age really has nothing to with it.

Without Nintendo, where does Sony copy from? EDIT: Oh, and apparently you haven't seen the sales of the 3DS after the price drop. It's been the top-selling console in Japan for over a month now. Besides, sales have picked up a lot in America as well. And as soon as the holidays come 'round, they'll be selling like hot cakes. Also Milk, that is almost exactly right. >implying Nintendo hasn't copied it's fair share from Sony as well And it doesn't matter how much the 3DS sells either. Most people buying it are curious to see how the 3D is, but then once they buy it, they realize that there's only a handful of good games. Granted, there may be some good titles coming out in the future, but right now, it's not a very good system.

Granted, there may be some good titles coming out in the future, but right now, it's not a very good system. When I got mine, I got one game with it. I played it once, and didn't turn it on again for a month. You know what I did? I enjoyed everything the 3DS already had bulit-in. Face Raiders, Excitebike, and StreetPass. And I had more fun than I did the first time I played my Wii, which is also a great system.

Want to know why the 3DS is the highest selling console? It's because no other systems are being released. It's a handheld not a console. Different market to compete in.

It's a handheld not a console. Different market to compete in. Eh, true. But it still outsells all of them. Maybe on a month to month basis because the PS2 is so dated, but the PS2 is still the best selling console. And do you mean the PSP? It's not hard to outsell that. Selling 5 glasses of lemonade at your lemonade stand means you sold more than the PSP did that month.
