Almost everyone knows that the 3DS hasn't had the best of sales, and that the Wii has absolutely awful Third Party support. With the upcoming release of the Wii U in 2012, do you guys really think that it's going to sell ANYWHERE near as much as the Wii? Will Nintendo eventually be crippled financially?

I'm not saying that the games are bad, I love a lot of them, but the 3DS isn't really doing good. They price dropped it almost immediately after release and they're adding a peripheral. All just so we will buy it.

The Game Boy Mirco was just to milk some cash not to be a serious handheld.
And I think the 3DS is still going to sell well.

The Wii U might do some things right, but it's way too early to tell how good the system will be. I doubt it's going to be as big of a hit as the Wii was though.

Well, they have pigeon-holed themselves into the "people who don't normally play video games unless there's some sort of dumb motion gimmick" demographic as their main customers.

Nintendo saved the industry. They did, about 25 years ago. Now they're ruining it by encouraging the development of poor quality titles created for the purpose of making a quick buck. Just go to your local game store and look at all of the terrible, "casual" titles in the Wii section. In fact, this is what caused the game crash in the first place.

I wasn't old enough when they came out, but I still know what they are thanks to the AVGN. Someone actually made a cabinet arcade cabinet for the Virtual Boy.

Without Nintendo, where does Sony copy from?
EDIT: Oh, and apparently you haven't seen the sales of the 3DS after the price drop. It's been the top-selling console in Japan for over a month now. Besides, sales have picked up a lot in America as well. And as soon as the holidays come 'round, they'll be selling like hot cakes.
Also Milk, that is almost exactly right.
